AI Platform Security
About the course
Without sufficient AI Platform Security, the platform is heavily at risk. Unauthorized users could access information that they should not be able to read, malicious network connections might be able to get into the private parts of the network, or a business critical application could be brought down by an attack. It goes without saying that this is undesirable, but fortunately it is also largely preventable. In this two day badge, we will dive into the many security aspects of the modern AI data platform. Subjects that are included range from authorization and authentication to network security and encryption. Completing this course will make sure that you know the best practices in security in many of these areas and that you can apply then in your day to day job
Why this is for you
Working on an AI data platform without knowing about its security is not an option. All different components in the platform have security impact, one way or another. From the data management to the applications, and from the model engines to the networking, security is always there. As an AI engineer, you need to make sure the components in the platform that you are responsible for are secure, and you need to be aware of common pitfalls in security as well as best practices.
What you’ll learn
In this training, we will look into all-round AI platform security. Many different topics will be covered, such as authentication and authorization, which is how to manage user accounts and make sure that everyone has the right access. Furthermore, we look into monitoring and automated remediation, as having a secure system is only half the picture, it also needs to be monitored, and preferably some security measures can be taken automatically. We also study firewalls, which are necessary to protect the networking from the outside, and encryption, which protects the data both in transit and at rest. Lastly, we will study secrets management, the practice of keeping platform secrets such as passwords in a secure location.
Theory and practical use
All trainings in the GAIn portfolio combine high-quality standardized training material with theory sessions from experts and hands-on experience where you directly apply the material to real-life cases. Each training is developed by top of the field practitioners which means they are full of industry examples along with practical challenges and know-how, fueling the interactive discussions during training. We believe this multi-level approach creates the ideal learning environment for participants to thrive.
